Our female entrepreneur and Buzz Georgia Anchor Woman, Tako Bakradze from the village of Martkopi, is the founder of the pottery house and social enterprise "Ulevi" (ULEVI is a Georgian word which means ‘having no end, infinite’) together with her husband and disabled little daughter.
She offers a number of interesting programs in her social enterprise: socialization for the elderly, teaching them handicrafts and creating a socialization-relationship space. She also promotes the development of non-formal education, social activism and entrepreneurship in her region.
On behalf of the social enterprise Ulevi, youth, musical and educational, poetry festivals have been organized in the community, aimed at promoting the region, supporting art and creative fields, and developing inter-generational socialization and networking.
Here is a video, capturing very beautifully the history and the activities of Tako and “ULEVI”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgkrmdqw-As
