ABOUT Our work in Côte d'Ivoire

In 2025, Buzz Women expanded to Côte d’Ivoire through a partnership with Sabou Gnouma Gnini – meaning “Seeking good opportunities”. Our goal is to bring our program to women in cocoa-growing communities where economic and social challenges are closely tied to agricultural livelihoods.

Since 2015, Sabou Gnouma Gnini has worked to reduce poverty and improve living conditions for cocoa producers and their communities. With deep local networks, sector expertise and a strong respect for individuals and their ways of life, they are the ideal partner to grow the Buzz Women movement in Côte d’Ivoire.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our training programs focus on confidence building, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal leadership, regenerative practices, and community participation. Each designed to respond to real community needs.

Inner Strength

Our foundational program builds confidence and practical financial skills. Women learn about saving, budgeting, debt avoidance, and household decision making in group sessions brought directly to their villages.

Inspirational Fellowship

This program trains women to become community anchors. They are trusted role models who inspire change from within through peer learning and lived example.

Buzz Beehives

Women gather in sisterhood to learn together, solve problems collectively, and spark community change. These powerful gatherings are facilitated by trained Anchor Women.

KEY RESULTS

We measure our impact rigorously and the results speak for themselves. Through our proven methodology we help women build confidence, strengthen livelihoods, launch businesses, and step into local leadership.

WHERE WE WORK Côte d'Ivoire

Buzz Women Côte d’Ivoire works in cocoa-growing communities in two regions: Haut-Sassandra (Daloa, Issia) and Lôh-Djiboua (Divo, Hermankono, Dièz). Through partnerships with Union Ecookim and Socoopacdi cooperatives, Sabou brings training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and personal development directly to women in cocoa-producing communities.
