ABOUT Our work in Kenya

Buzz Women launched in Kenya in 2025 through partnership with Emerging Leaders Foundation-Africa (ELF-Africa). Together, we strengthen women’s economic participation through practical training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership – brought directly to where women are.

We currently work with women in the urban informal settlement of Kiambiu in Nairobi and in rural communities in Kajiado West. Building on ELF-Africa’s mission of inclusive governance and active citizenship, the program enables women to build confidence, develop skills, and step into leadership in their everyday lives.

Inner Strength

Our foundational program builds confidence and practical financial skills. Women learn about saving, budgeting, debt avoidance, and household decision making in group sessions brought directly to their villages.

Building synergies and working together, is the surest way to sustainable development and real transformation. The collaboration between Buzzwomen and Emerging Leaders Foundation-Africa is a win-win. It’s a win for the organizations, the women and the communities. You see, two rivers meeting do not lose themselves, they become something wider, deeper, and unstoppable.
