Vision & Mission Women driving change

We dream of a balanced world where women’s voices are celebrated and their leadership transforms their own lives, communities, and society. We believe every woman carries within her the strength, wisdom, and power to make that dream real. Buzz Women creates the space for her to rediscover and activate her strength right where she lives, through transformative education and the power of sisterhood.

Our film We Move the World brings this change to life through women’s personal stories. Their courage and transformation reflect the experiences of the one million women Buzz Women has reached over the years.

The Buzz Way

When we started Buzz Women, we wanted to make a difference. Our tiny drop in the ocean. With the Buzz Women movement expanding across the globe, our dream gets bigger. We want our ideas to travel further than the organization ever could. So we wrote them down. The Buzz Way tells our story from A to Z. The book is an invitation to learn from what we have learned. OUR ORGANIZATION

Buzz Women is a global movement rooted in local leadership. We reach women through our organizations in India and The Gambia and through local partner organizations in other countries. The Buzz Women Foundation in the Netherlands supports the movement’s international growth. Together, we share one approach while building on the knowledge, experience, and leadership of each local organization.

Governance

Each of our three organizations in India, the Gambia and the Netherlands has its own independent board ensuring strong local leadership and accountability. The Buzz Circle brings together leaders from across the Buzz Women network to shape our shared direction and connect local experience with our global ambitions.
