ABOUT Our work in Senegal

Buzz Women launched in Senegal in January 2026, partnering with Calebasse des Linguères. This is a local association deeply rooted in work with women and youth in vulnerable communities.

The program responds to women’s own priorities: financial management, entrepreneurship, agricultural skills and environmental awareness. Through community-based training, women strengthen their economic activities and lead change in their families and communities. Calebasse brings valuable local expertise and helps turn learning into practice.

OUR PROGRAMS

Our training programs focus on confidence building, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal leadership, regenerative practices, and community participation. Each designed to respond to real community needs.

Inner Strength

Our foundational program builds confidence and practical financial skills. Women learn about saving, budgeting, debt avoidance, and household decision making in group sessions brought directly to their villages.

Inspirational Fellowship

This program trains women to become community anchors. They are trusted role models who inspire change from within through peer learning and lived example.

Buzz Beehives

Women gather in sisterhood to learn together, solve problems collectively, and spark community change. These powerful gatherings are facilitated by trained Anchor Women.

KEY RESULTS

We measure our impact rigorously and the results speak for themselves. Through our proven methodology we help women build confidence, strengthen livelihoods, launch businesses, and step into local leadership.

WHERE WE WORK Senegal

Calebasse des Lingueres works in the Podor and Saint Louis regions, reaching women in food processing and agriculture communities. The Buzz Women programs operate in Guandiol Nord, Guet Ndar, and Sanar, bringing training in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and personal development directly to women, helping them strengthen their livelihoods and build confidence.

When we started Buzz Women, we wanted to make a difference. Our tiny drop in the ocean. ‘If they cannot go to school, let’s take the school to them’ – the idea of a school on wheels was born.
