Buzz Women began in India in 2012, bringing education directly to women in rural Karnataka. Our programs were designed to create spaces where women could learn, share and step into their power together. Today, Buzz Women India reaches more than 800,000 women at their doorsteps, strengthening livelihoods and driving change within families and communities. India remains the innovation hub of the Buzz Women movement. Training methodologies are continuously tested and refined here, to shape and strengthen our work worldwide.

OUR PROGRAMS
Our training programs focus on confidence building, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal leadership, regenerative practices, and community participation. Each designed to respond to real community needs.
Self Shakti
Our foundational program builds confidence and practical financial skills. Women learn about saving, budgeting, debt avoidance, and household decision making in group sessions brought directly to their villages.
Spoorthi Fellowship
This program trains women to become community anchors. They are trusted role models who inspire change from within through peer learning and lived example.
Beehives
Women gather in sisterhood to learn together, solve problems collectively, and spark community change. These powerful gatherings are facilitated by trained Anchor Women.
Buzz Vyapar
A tailored entrepreneurship program for women ready to start or expand their businesses, covering business planning, financial management, marketing, and growth strategies.
Buzz Hasiru
Environmental awareness through practical action. Women learn regenerative practices including reducing plastic use, conserving water, managing waste, growing kitchen gardens, and organizing community clean-ups.
Nagarika Sakhi
We train women to engage actively in local governance by raising issues with officials, advocating for community needs, and ensuring their voices shape local decisions.

WHERE WE WORK India
Buzz Women India is reaching across Karnataka state, bringing programs directly to women in rural communities. We currently work in 15 districts (Tumkur, Kolar, Chitradurga, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Bangalore Rural, Hassan, Chamrajnagara, Mysore, Davangere, Mandya, Raichur, Haveri, Koppal and Yadgir), with the vision of reaching women throughout the entire state.
