It’s here: our Global Impact Report 2025

We believe that real change begins with a single woman. From there, the ripples spread. When a woman gains financial confidence, her family life improves. When she finds her voice, her daughters dare to dream bigger. When she steps into leadership, her community shifts. When communities transform, societies reshape into a world where women stand fully in their power. This ripple approach is at the heart of everything we do. But belief alone is not enough. We hold ourselves to a higher standard: we measure.
Our global impact report for 2025 is here. And this year is a special one.
For the first time it’s a true global assessment showing our program methodology, data and powerful individual stories from all 9 countries where Buzz is active.
A few highlights of the global outcomes that speak to the change that ripples on:
- Financial literacy: 77 to 94% of women report now having active saving habits.
- Inner strength: 55 to 96% report an increase in confidence, translating into leadership and collective action.
- Agency: 60 to 85% are now actively involved in financial decisions at home, in their communities, and beyond.
Behind these percentages are women, families, and interconnected lives. Like Gbahi Evelyne in Lékaboua, Ivory Coast. In a Fellowship exercise she was asked which tree she would be, she chose the mandarin – “because it doesn’t need to be tall to bear a lot of fruit. But it does take time.” She raised her monthly savings by 67%, and fifteen women in her group started keeping their own cash boxes after watching how she does it.
This January, they chose her as Anchor Woman.
Gbahi Evelyne’s journey speaks to the heart of everything we do. In India, 2,629 women who first came to Buzz Women as participants have now trained 97,162 others themselves. Roughly an eighth of everyone the movement has reached in India was taught by a woman who sat in the same training a year or two before.
As our former chairman Ousman in The Gambia, noted: “We only count them to make sure they can count on themselves.”
