Team Buzz continues to Inspire Change Through Tree Planting

Our climate education team initiated a tree-planting exercise in the Kombo South village of Toumani Tenda. A twelve-person team, led by our National Director, embarked on the exercise in the riverside village.

In the forest of Toumani, 135 fruit and forest trees were planted on a site now identified by the community as a Buzz Forest, tasked with nurturing, maintaining, and improving the wildlife within the buzzing forest. The trees planted include Malaina trees, Baobab, Locust beans, mangoes, cashew nuts, moringa, silk floss, and mahogany trees.

Our Buzz Green module educates communities on the effects of climate change, igniting women's desire to protect their environment and inspiring them to engage in green activities that will help maintain the natural ecosystem. As a team leading by example and inspiring change, we have become change-makers in a fast-changing globe.
