Celebrating Growth Through Our Phased Approach in Tanzania

This quarter marked an exciting milestone as we proudly celebrated the completion of the first Inspirational Fellowship cohort out of the total eight cohorts being trained in Marangu, Moshi District, where we have been active since April 2024. The women successfully completed all five modules, concluding with Conflict Resolution, and were awarded certificates recognizing their growth, confidence, and commitment.

What made this cohort truly special is that they were the very first group to embark on the Inspirational Fellowship Program in Tanzania, and the first to roll out the newly introduced fifth module. Their journey represents a key step in Buzz Women’s phased approach to implementation, which ensures sustainable growth while maintaining program quality and deep community engagement.

We begin every journey by launching the Inner Strength Program, a powerful foundation that helps women reconnect with their confidence, self-awareness, and resilience. From there, we build anchors and beehives, developing structures of Anchor Women and local women’s groups that meet regularly for collective learning and mutual support.

In the final phase, we grow into the Community Model, as Anchor Women evolve into voluntary community trainers, equipping them to train others in their communities and carry the movement forward independently.

With the ongoing Anchor Woman training in Tanzania, we’re now building this structure step by step, laying the groundwork for a strong and sustainable community model that truly belongs to the women themselves.
