Women Agripreneur of the Year Award 2022 Rising Star!
The AGRF, Africa’s premier forum for driving the food and agricultural agenda in the continent annual Summit under the theme ‘Grow, Nourish, Reward- Bold Action for Resilient Food Systems, Increasing Access to Healthy Diets' in the AU Year of Nutrition was held in Kigali, Rwanda. Fatou competed among 1487 applicants from 34 countries in Africa. She shortlisted to the top 20, then the top 15, to the final winner in the category 'recognizing innovation and leadership in the agricultural value chain'. In the history of (the WAYA) Women Agripreneur of the Year Award, Fatou is the first Gambian to apply and the first Gambian to win this award.
Once again Fatou we congratulate you for this big achievement, we know how much love, passion and dedication you're putting into your work at Buzz and your own Herbal Tea business every single day! You are a true inspiration for all of us.
