privacy policy

Buzz Women is committed to protecting your personal data. In this Privacy Policy we want to give you information on how we handle your personal data.

 

We will do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and will therefore handle your personal data with care. Buzz Women abides by applicable laws and regulations in all cases, including the General Data Protection Regulation. This means that we at least:

What do we process personal data for?

Your personal data will be processed by Buzz Women for the following purposes:

  • To enter into and implement agreements with donors,

  • To run the donor administration;

  • To send newsletters and invitations;

  • To carry out relationship management, promotion and marketing activities;

  • To facilitate online fundraising initiatives;

  • To register your settings and preferences regarding the use of our website (via cookies), also for the proper functioning of our website;

 

For the above purposes we may ask the following personal data from you:

  • Name;

  • Address details;

  • E-mail address;

  • Bank details;

Provision to third parties

We may provide the information you give us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes described above.

 

For example, we use a third party for:

  • Taking care of the internet environment of our Website;

  • Taking care of the (financial) administration;

  • Taking care of our e-mail correspondence;

  • Providing newsletters and invitations.

 

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. With these parties (processors) we obviously make the necessary agreements to ensure the security of your personal data.

 

Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provided to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us written permission to do so.

 

Storage period

Buzz Women does not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or as required by law.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing, for example, we have taken the following measures;

 

  • All persons who can take cognizance of your data on behalf of Buzz Women are bound to secrecy;

  • Our website is secured with an HTTPS/SSL certificate;

  • We use a Clean Desk Policy;

  • We operate a username and password policy on all our systems;

  • We make backups of personal data in order to be able to restore it in case of physical or technical incidents;

  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;

  • Our employees are informed about the importance of protecting personal data.
